As any SNL fan should know, this is one of the many precious one-liners courtesy of Tracy Morgan as Brian Fellow on the priceless recurring 90s skit Brian Fellow’s Safari Planet. Doppelgangers, for those of you who don’t know, are people who look like you but are not related to you in any way. The world is full of them and here are two that I recently encountered . . .

On the left is Joely Richardson from “television’s most provocative show,” FX’s Nip/Tuck. She plays Dr. Sean McNamara’s wife Julia and she is also a member of the Malfoy family in Harry Potter. On the right is Anne Heche, known for her brief lesbian phase with Ellen DeGeneres and, on this blog, for her revival of Marion Crane in 1998’s Psycho. Most recently, she cannot be seen on episodes of ABC’s Men in Trees as Marin Frist, the writer who moves to Alaska because of a series of events instigated by her fiancee’s infidelity (I believe the show is cancelled now, for obvious reasons).
On the left is the wife of lawn gnome and former presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich and on the right is smokin-hot model (Elle, Glamour, Playboy, Sports Illustrated) yet unimpressive actress, Angie Everhart. Oddly enough, not only do these women share a striking resemblance, but they share a common love for stubby older men as Everhart is now engaged to actor Joe Pesci.
That’s all for now, but if you know of more celebrity doppelgangers, post them on comments and I’ll feature them on the next installment of “That Bird Is NOT My Doppelganger.”

Vu Le added these pithy words on Jan 25 08 at 4:43 pmOkay Noelbert, celebrity doppelgangers…someone that everyone has a chance of knowing through media exposure. But if you can find a picture of her, I’ll be sure to include her on the next post.
